Creature Orphanage is a story-based game of imagination to play on a rainy day with your 3-5 year old child using their favorite stuffies / lovies / plush critters .
- Low-prep, easy set-up, for parents with busy schedules
- Moderately physically active, for kids who can't sit for long
- played in short episodes for short attention spans (10-20min)
- Educational (teaches social & emotional skills and problem-solving)
Issue #1 can be downloaded for free and contains everything you'll need to get started with both the rules and 4 free adventures.
- Arty the Bear needs surgery!
- Teach Loro, the Scarlet Macaw how to fly.
- Sniffles the Skunk is stuck on the Ice!
- Raffy the Giraffe is tired of being short, and (literally) can’t wait to grow up.

I love this! Saw that you design curriculum and would love to chat - I teach with RPGs and have been coaching teachers on implementing my writing curriculum using an RPG designed for the classroom; feels like we're doing connected stuff!

This is a very part time passion of mine, and I do it mainly for my two kiddos. Creature Orphanage specifically comes from not being able to find existing RPG / story games that *click* with my son who's extremely hyperactive, attention deficit. So, if you have suggestions, I'm all ears. He's 5yo.
Yes I do curriculum design as part of my day job, but I don't have a lot of experience with elementary kids or younger. I taught middle and high school for a few years, and now I design training curriculum for adults. I do feel my background helps somewhat with designing this kind of thing, but it's not exactly in my wheelhouse, IFKWIM
